| | Axle beam, LHD, 1968-1979 | When we first produced our Air Suspension Kit for Split buses we had several Bay owners ask if we would do a similar kit for their Bays. The answer was no because the Bay has ball joint suspension which limits how low you can safely go. Our answer was they should bolt in a Split King and link pin beam into their Bay and a couple of guys did just that. Five years later, the movement has started and and Torsion sprung King and Link pin beams are going into Bays regularly. Interest is now great enough that we have produced a dedicated King and Link pin beam just for Bays. It has all the standard features of our other WEEDEATER 2 Beams but will pick up on the four Bay chassis bolt points, have turrets that clear the Bay floor but have the tube spacing to accept The Split trailing arms and spindles. We have built in extra camber to help improve handling on heavily lowered buses. The only part you keep off your Bay beam are the springs which will need narrowing.

Needle Roller outer bearings, Urethane inner bearings, Billet bearing carriers, Bearing outer grease seals (4), Precision machined trailing arm sleeves, Billet upper shock mounts, Three piece CNC machined steering pin housing in one piece housing, Adjustable idler arm stops, Dual steering damper mounts for left or right hand drive buses. CE dual adjusters give approx 6" of adjustment. Correct tensile locking screw on adjustors, Acid cleaned, Acid etch primered and Powder coated finish.
