Our basic remanufactured unit, aimed at customers who want to keep their car as close to its original specification as possible. All of these engines are fitted with re-manufactured heads, as these parts are no longer available new and are suitable for use with leaded or unleaded fuel. They also utilise remanufactured cylinders with new KS pistons, rings and pins. All of these engines are supplied with a modified standard bottom pulley, which must be used and a 009 distributor. Supplied with any gaskets required for fitting. Surcharge of 300 €  

All engines are now covered by a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty from the date of purchase (first year parts and labour, second year parts). Each unit is supplied with detailed installation, care and maintenance instructions plus a warranty registration card. This registration card must be returned to Remtec Europe within fourteen days of delivery and must be completed by the owner and supplier/fitter. The warranty is transferable to a new owner if the vehicle is sold during the period of cover as long as all care & maintenance requirements are adhered to. Bad fitting, incorrect timing and poor maintenance are the causes of nearly all premature engine failures.
